What did Rohit Sharma say after the victory?

After winning the match against USA, Indian captain Rohit Sharma praised the opponents during the post-match presentation. He said

“We knew that chasing such a big score would be a tough task. We should get credit for this win. In the end, Sky (Suryakumar Yadav) and Dube (Shivam Dube) performed well. There are many players in the US team with whom we have played. I am very happy with their progress, I saw them doing well in the MLC (Major Cricket League) as well. They are hard-working guys who are making their mark.”

Rohit Sharma gave credit to these 3 players

Praising Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dubey and Arshdeep Singh, Rohit Sharma further said,

“We knew our bowlers had to take charge as scoring runs on this pitch is tough. Arshdeep started off brilliantly. We want to have options with us. Whenever we feel we can use them, we should and Dubey allowed that. Reaching the Super Eight is a big relief.”

“It was not easy to play here, the match could have gone either way. Had to stick around till the end and take the game as deep as possible. Sky showed he has a different game and that is what you expect from experienced players. His partnership with Dube was crucial.”
