New Delhi: The New York leg of the T20 World Cup 2024 might have turned out to be a drab affair as far as the run-scoring and big-hitting but it didn't stop fans from getting entertained.

In fact, fans themselves raised the entertainment quotient with their antics during the matches. One such incident is going viral on social media with a video of fans teasing Indian superstar batter Virat Kohli during the India vs USA match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. The video was filmed from one of the stands of the newly-built stadium in Long Island. The video captured Kohli standing on the boundary rope and the fans teasing him with hilarious chants: '10 rupay ki Pepsi, Kohli bhai s..y' and 'Diwali yo ha Holi, Anushka loves Kohli'. Listening to the chants, Kohli casually turned around and waved at the fans.

Can Kohli turn his fortunes? While India won the match against the USA to seal the progress to the Super Eight, Kohli's form remains a huge concern for the Men in Blue. The master batter has endured a torrid run in the T20 World Cup 2024. Kohli has scored just five runs in three innings in the mega-tournament so far including a golden duck against the co-hosts. With Yashasvi Jaiswal waiting to pounce on the opportunity, it will be interesting to see if the Indian team management takes the bold call to drop Kohli. After confirming their passage into the Super Eight, India will look to enter the knockouts unbeaten.
