Delhi: Ahead of their last group stage match against Nepal in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, South Africa's veteran fast bowler Kagiso Rabada said that they are not taking their opponents lightly. The team in green jersey is at the top of Group D with six points after winning all three matches.

Speaking at the press conference on the eve of the match, Rabada said that the match against Nepal would be like any other international match.

29-year-old Kagiso Rabada said, “This is another international match, another match and we are not taking it lightly. We will try to play the same kind of cricket or even better than what we have been playing in the tournament.”

The right-arm pacer praised Nepal's star spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, saying that he is a 'mysterious spinner' and it will be tough to play against him.

He said, “He is a mystery spinner, so it will be tough to play any mystery spinner, but I know the players are really looking forward to face that challenge.”

Apart from this, the fast bowler hopes that South Africa will get a lot of support in the West Indies. He said, “I don't know how many South African fans are there in St. Vincent, but maybe there are 10 of them, no matter how many they are. Hopefully they will come, but I am not sure of too much support. Maybe some of the locals are South African supporters, so hopefully they will come in large numbers.”
