In the 39th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea (NZ vs PNG) clashed. Both the teams faced each other at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Trinidad. After winning the toss, captain Kane Williamson invited the PNG team to bat first, after which the team was all out for 78 runs. In response, the Kiwi team put 79 runs on the scoreboard for the loss of three wickets. With this, the team won the match (NZ vs PNG) by 7 wickets.

NZ vs PNG: Lockie Ferguson's bowling created a ruckus
