Delhi: West Indies maintained their winning streak in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The Windies team won all four matches in the league round. They defeated Afghanistan in the match held on Tuesday. This match was played at the Darren Sammy International Stadium in Saint Lucia. West Indies defeated Afghanistan first on the strength of the batsmen and then the bowlers. The host team continued its winning streak by winning against Afghanistan by 104 runs.

West Indies and Afghanistan have already qualified for the Super-8 from Group C. Today's match was just like a practice match, but Afghanistan had a tough time chasing the tough challenge of 219 runs given by the Windies team. The visiting team was all out for just 114 runs in 16.2 overs. Ibrahim Zadran scored the most runs (38) for his team. Apart from this, no batsman could play a big innings.
