Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto has won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in Super 8 clash of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

“We want to restrict the Indian team on a low score and then chase it down. Our players have done well in the tournament so far,” he said.

India captain Rohit Sharma would have batted first had he won the toss. “We would have batted first as the wicket looks good and hard. The track will get slow in the second innings. We have been playing well and know what is needed in every game,” Rohit Sharma said.
