Rashid Khan: Afghanistan has created history in the T20 World Cup 2024 by entering the semi-finals for the first time. They made it to the semi-finals by defeating Bangladesh by 8 runs in the last and do-or-die match of the Super 8. Afghanistan's victory ended Australia's challenge in the tournament.

Rashid Khan said about his clear plan- I am proud of this team. We thought 130-135 would be a good score on this wicket.

We fell short by 15-20 runs. It all depends on the mindset. If we had bowled at the stumps, we would have had a better chance of getting them out. We didn't have to do anything extra. We just had to be clear about our plans. We tried, it is in our hands.

Afghanistan and Bangladesh match status

Let us tell you that India will face England in the semi-finals, while Afghanistan will face South Africa for the final ticket.
If we talk about the match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh, Afghanistan scored 115 runs for 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and gave Bangladesh a target of 116 runs to win.

Rashid Khan took the maximum of four wickets and Bangladesh was all out for 105 runs in 17.5 overs and won the match by 8 runs.
