Frank Duckworth along with Tony Lewis invented the most amazing rules of cricket, Duckworth Lewis rules. It was first used in international cricket in the year 1997.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) accepted it as valid in 2001. After the retirement of Duckworth and Lewis (Tony Lewis) in 2014, this rule was named Duckworth Lewis rule. Later, Australia's Steven Stern made necessary changes in it.
