At the IS Bindra PCA Stadium, the BLV Blasters produced an incredible comeback to defeat Trident Stallions by four wickets and win the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup.

The starting opener for the U-19 World Cup, Harnoor Singh Pannu (83), who just moved to Punjab from Chandigarh, continued to be the Blasters’ best player.

To assist the team reach the total with two balls remaining, Harpreet Brar scored 19 off 6 balls, including three sixes. Blasters scored 205 runs, missing their aim of 204.

After yet another outstanding batting display, Stallions reached 204/5 in the 20 overs that were allowed. Salil Arora’s undefeated, scorching 78-run innings is still the game’s high point. He participated in three significant alliances.

Abhay Choudhary and Prabhsimran Singh led the Stallions in the opening. Before Aradhya Shukla trapped Choudhary (10) at 10, the pair had scored 14 runs.

Aditya Pratap Singh (25), who had the team up to 61 runs, lost his wicket after failing to stop Simranjeet Singh Gharu’s stunning blow. After that, Arora and team captain Prabhsimran summoned the bravery to establish a 45-run partnership for the team. Before Prabhsimran was caught by Harpreet Brar from Gharu, he was playing at 50 off 31 balls.

After joining Arora, Ramandeep Singh scored 47 runs together, establishing another significant partnership. Shukla’s 22-year-old take on Ramandeep helped the Blasters make a breakthrough.
