The title match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was played on 29 June, in which Team India challenged South Africa. After winning the toss, Rohit Sharma decided to bat first, after which the team managed to score 176 runs. In response, South Africa could only score 169 runs and lost the match by seven runs. • The Kensington Oval ground in Barbados hosted the final match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, in which South Africa faced Team India.
• After winning the toss and coming to bat first, Rohit Sharma and company's performance was not very good.
  Apart from Virat Kohli and Akshar Patel, no batsman could play a big innings.
• Due to this, the team was able to score 176 runs at the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 9 runs, Suryakumar Yadav 3 runs and Ravindra Jadeja 2 runs. Rishabh Pant could not even open the account.

Team India became the champion of T20 World Cup 2024 after 13 years

• Shivam Dubey played a blistering innings and scored 27 runs in 16 balls.
  Virat Kohli contributed 76 runs and Akshar Patel contributed 47 runs. In reply, South Africa scored 169 runs. At one time, victory seemed to be in favor of Aiden Markram's team.
• But the bowling of Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya in the last overs completely changed the course of the match and played an important role in making India the champion.
• After 13 years, the Indian team has won the T20 World Cup title. In such a situation, Indian fans congratulated Rohit Sharma and company on social media.
  They were also seen celebrating the team's victory.
