Team India has created history by winning the title in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 played in Barbados on Saturday. After almost 17 years, India was successful in winning the title of T20 World Cup. In such a situation, Rohit Sharma and company are getting a lot of applause all around. • The excitement of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has come to an end.
  The title match was played between South Africa and India in Barbados on 29 June.
• After winning the toss, Rohit Sharma decided to bat first, which proved to be right for India. With the help of Virat Kohli's stormy half-century innings, the team put 176 runs on the scoreboard.
• Virat Kohli thrashed the African bowlers and played a match winning innings of 79 runs. In reply, South Africa could only score 169 runs despite Heinrich Klaasen's quick half century.

• Indian fast bowlers Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah completely dominated the opposition team, due to which Africa lost the match which they won.
• On the other hand, the Indian team was successful in winning the T20 World Cup title after 17 years.
