India Tour Of Zimbabwe T20I Series: The Indian cricket team will play a series of five T20 International matches against Zimbabwe from July 6.

Veteran players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja have retired from this format after winning the T20 World Cup trophy and most of the players of the World Cup team have been included in this series.

Shubman Gill has been made the captain of the team for this series against Zimbabwe. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson and Shivam Dubey, who were part of the World Cup team, have been selected for this series. Apart from this, Rinku Singh, Khalil Ahmed and Avesh Khan are also in the team, who were selected as reserve players in the T20 World Cup.

Abhishek Sharma, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag and Tushar Pandey, who performed brilliantly in the IPL, have got a chance in the team for the first time. All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy was also selected, but he was ruled out due to injury and Dubey was included in his place.

With the World Cup victory, Rahul Dravid's tenure as head coach ended and VVS Laxman will take over the responsibility on this tour. All the matches of the series will be played at Harare Sports Club in Harare.

All five matches will start at 4.30 pm Indian time.
