Zimbabwe batters failed to get going against the young Indian side in the first T20I of the five-match series. The host nation managed 115/9, with Ravi Bishnoi taking four wickets.

Clive Madande (29), Dion Myers (23), Brian Bennett (22) and Wessly Madhevere (21) got starts but they failed to convert them into big scores. Bishnoi didn’t allow the rivals to settle down as he got rid of Wessly, Bennett, Luke Jongwe and Blessing Muzarabani.

Team India’s all-rounder Washington Sundar dismissed two batters while Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar added one scalp each to their bowling figures.
