It was told that the names of former players from Australia, New Zealand and India are being considered. Jai Shah said this in this context.“The names of the next coach and selector will be announced soon. Our Cricket Advisory Committee looked into the matter. They have conducted interviews and shortlisted two candidates for the role of coach. Whoever they say, we will appoint to that responsibility.
VVS Laxman will be the coach of the Indian team in Zimbabwe.
But the Indian team going for the Sri Lanka series will be led by a new coach. Reportedly, the names of Gautam Gambhir and Raman are being considered for the post of head coach.
