The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced its squad for the upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies at home, starting on September 27.

Shubman Gill-led side will begin its preparations as India builds the squad towards the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.

With Jasprit Bumrah having been rested, Auqib Nabi has earned his maiden ODI call-up after being part of the Test squad for India’s tour of Sri Lanka in August. However, he did not make his debut during the Test series.

Meanwhile, Batter Naman Dhir has also earned his maiden call-up to the Indian squad. Ruturaj Gaikwad will be returning to the Indian set-up after featuring in an ODI series during the home series against South Africa last year.

Ravindra Jadeja will also be returning to the ODI squad after having featured in the ODI series against New Zealand in January.

Meanwhile, Mayank Yadav has returned to the Indian set-up after missing the T20I series against Afghanistan. Kuldeep Yadav and Prince Yadav have also been recalled, strengthening the bowling unit.

The Men in Blues have also made changes to their squad for the upcoming Asian Games 2026. Varun Chakravarthy, who developed a side strain, will be missing the tournament.

On the other hand, Nitish Reddy, who was originally named in the squad, has been withdrawn and will instead play in the ODI series against West Indies. Vipraj Nigam has been named as Reddy’s replacement in the Asian Games squad.

The tour begins with an ODI series, with the first match to be played on September 27 at Greenfield Stadium. The second and third matches will be played on September 30 and October 03 at Guwahati and New Chandigarh. The five-match T20I series will begin on October 06 at Lucknow.
