Kusal Mendis played captaincy innings and took Sri Lanka to a big score. He scored 121 runs in 100 balls, which included 14 fours and 3 sixes. This was Mendis's seventh century in the ODI format. His innings played an important role in taking Sri Lanka's score beyond 300.

Pawan Ratnayake also scored quickly in the lower order. He played an innings of 48 runs in 39 balls. Whereas Janith Liyanage scored 32 runs on 26 balls. With the help of these fast innings, Sri Lanka scored 321 runs in 50 overs.

Atkinson and Rehan Ahmed took 2-2 wickets
