Paris Olympics 2024: India has also started its campaign in Paris Olympics 2024 from today.

On the first day, the Indian women's team showed excellent performance in archery and secured a place in the quarter-finals. India's Ankita Bhakat secured 11th position with 666 points in the Archery Ranking Series. Apart from this, Ankita's team's other player Bhajan Kaur secured 22nd and Deepika Kumari secured 23rd position. Apart from this, Korea's Sihyeon Lim broke the world record with 694 points and remained in first place. Apart from this, compatriot Suhyeon remained in second place with 688 points.

Archery will continue till August 4

Archery has started in Paris Olympics 2024 from Thursday i.e. today 25th July. In which the women's ranking round started first. In this ranking round, Ankita Bhakat, Bhajan Kaur and Deepika Kumari were seen in action from India. After the women's ranking round, the men's ranking round will start at 5 pm. In this, experienced Tarundeep Rain, Praveen Jadhav and Dheeraj Bommadevara will be seen in action from India. Archery is going to continue till 4 August in Paris Olympics.

Which team will India compete with

India's women's archery team has now reached the quarter-finals. If we talk about the quarter-finals, then Team India may face Netherlands or France. If Team India wins the quarter-finals, then there is a possibility of it facing Korea in the semi-finals.

After the ranking round, the women's team event will be held on Sunday and the men's team event on Monday. After this, the women's and men's individual knockout rounds will be held from 30 July to 1 August. The mixed team event will be held on 2 August.

The inauguration ceremony will be held tomorrow

The opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024 is scheduled to be held from July 26, but Indian archers have started their campaign in Paris Olympics from July 25 itself. This time crores of Indians will be expecting medals from the archers.
