The 28-year-old Rashid Khan has been one of the best spin bowlers in the white-ball format over the past decade. The bowler has picked up 226 ODI wickets and also got 197 scalps in T20Is.

He is three short of becoming the first bowler in the T20I format to pick 200 scalps.

Khan recently sat down with Cricinfo, where he was played the winner-stays-on. The bowler was asked who stays on in the battle between himself and Sunil Narine, and he picked himself.

The next option was between Andre Russell and AB de Villiers, and Rashid went with the legendary South Africa batter.

The next two choices were between Chris Gayle vs Virat Kohli and jasprit bumrah vs Kieron Pollard, to which he named the Indian duo.

In what could be termed as the semi-final, the Afghan star was asked to pick between himself and ABD.

The Gujarat Titans star gave his vote to AB de Villiers and took Bumrah’s name when pitted against Kohli.

The final category pitted De Villiers against Bumrah, which was won by the latter. It wasn’t an easy choice considering all the players in the list have impressive numbers in the T20I format. The Proteas legend recently scored a brilliant 111 not out off 40 balls during the WCL season 3 game in Sharjah.

The likes of Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine are still going strong in various T20 leagues across the world. Virat is the top run-scorer in the history of the Indian Premier League.

Gayle was one of the greatest batters across all formats. He scored two triple tons in the Test format.

He amassed 175 not out while playing for RCB during the IPL 2013. His record stood for 13 years before Lhuan Dre-Pretorius broke it during a recent South African domestic T20 tournament.

Rashid himself is a legend in the T20 format at the age of 28. The spinner has played 550 T20 games and picked up 740 wickets with five fifers and has an economy rate of 6.6 runs. He also played 153 games in the IPL and took 179 wickets and is one of the top wicket-takers in the league.

Jasprit Bumrah’s numbers in T20 cricket

Having made his debut in early 2016, the Indian seamer has played 100 T20I games and taken 126 wickets, with a best of 4/15 in the final of the 2026 T20 WC. He has also played 288 games in T20 cricket, claiming a total of 354 scalps.
