Laura Wolvaardt has replaced Smriti Mandhana at the top of the ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings, with Harmanpreet Kaur climbing two places to eighth in the latest update released on Tuesday (October 27, 2026).
Mandhana lost the No. 1 spot after managing 32 in the opening ODI against Zimbabwe and a duck in the second match. Her dip in form allowed Wolvaardt to reclaim the top position in the batting charts.
Harmanpreet’s rise follows a century in the second ODI against Zimbabwe. The former India captain had stepped down from captaincy after leading the team to a second successive Asian Games gold in Japan.
Deepti Sharma made gains across three lists. The all-rounder gained four positions to 23rd among ODI batters, moved up two places to fourth among all-rounders and climbed one spot to eighth in the bowlers’ rankings, the ICC stated. She also scored a century in the second ODI.
India have already clinched the three-match series in Vadodara after winning the first two games. The centuries from Harmanpreet and Deepti in the second ODI gave the team an unassailable lead in the series.
Pratika Rawal rose seven rungs to 21st, a career-best in the ODI batting list. Pacer Kranti Gaud rose two places to 25th among ODI bowlers.
Zimbabwe’s batters also made ground. Modester Mupachikwa climbed five places to 39th, Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano gained four spots to 47th, and Beloved Biza jumped 16 places to 56th.
In the T20I rankings, Shafali Verma moved up one place to third, and Mandhana climbed one spot to fourth following India’s T20I series against Zimbabwe.
Elsewhere, Australia’s Ash Gardner climbed nine places to 19th in the T20I batting rankings after the recent series against New Zealand. Australian bowlers Georgia Wareham and Kim Garth moved to joint seventh and joint 10th in the T20I bowling rankings, while New Zealand’s Bree Illing rose six places to 17th and Nensi Patel climbed to 29th.
Mandhana remains India’s ODI captain, and the update follows her side’s series win over Zimbabwe. Harmanpreet and Deepti were the two India batters to strike centuries in the series.
