Delhi: Before IPL 2027, the discussion of trade between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) regarding Hardik Pandya has increased the interest of the fans. If Hardik comes to Chennai team, it could be one of the biggest trades of IPL. However, this deal will not be easy. Former Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin believes that to get Hardik, Chennai will have to make a big offer to Mumbai.

Ashwin gave many suggestions regarding this possible trade on his YouTube channel. According to him, Mumbai would not be ready to give up Hardik in exchange for just one player. The name of young batsman Ayush Mhatre can also be important in this deal.

Mumbai may ask for Ayush Mhatre for Hardik

Ashwin believes that Mumbai Indians will not accept a player like Shivam Dubey in exchange of Hardik Pandya. The team may also be eyeing Ayush Mhatre, who can become an important future player for Chennai.

Ashwin said that Mumbai would like such a package in exchange for Hardik, which would also strengthen its team. In such a situation, Chennai may have to be ready to include more than one player in the trade.

Ashwin told three options for trade

Ashwin suggested Chennai Super Kings to make some possible offers for Hardik. According to him, Chennai can consider these options.

Shivam Dubey and Nathan Ellis: According to Ashwin, Ellis can prove to be useful for Mumbai in place of Trent Boult and can handle the responsibility of bowling in the death overs along with Jasprit Bumrah.

Shivam Dubey, Nathan Ellis and Urvil Patel: Mumbai can also get a wicketkeeper-batsman in this offer.

Big trade of many players: Chennai can try to include Deepak Chahar in its team along with Hardik by giving Dubey, Ellis, Urvil and another fast bowler.

According to Ashwin, the last option can be beneficial for both the teams. Chennai will get an all-rounder from Hardik, while the arrival of Deepak Chahar can strengthen the team's bowling with the new ball.

Dhoni and Hardik's friendship can also be a reason

Ashwin also considered the relationship between Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Hardik Pandya important in this possible trade. Hardik has expressed respect for Dhoni on many occasions. Ashwin feels that the good relations between the two can make this deal in favor of Chennai.

Ashwin said that to get a player like Hardik, Chennai will have to make such a big offer, which Mumbai cannot easily reject. According to him, two or three players may have to be included in this trade.
