Delhi: The Women's Premier League 2027 auction took place on Wednesday, October 28 in Kochi. During this period, bidding took place on 150 players, while the five franchises had a total of 27 vacant places. A total of 25 players won silver in the auction. After the auction, the picture of all the teams has become clear to a great extent. Now the franchises will prepare for the next season with their new players.

Australia captain Sophie Molineau was the most expensive player in the auction. UP Warriors bought him for Rs 1.10 crore. At the same time, Delhi Capitals spent Rs 75 lakh on Indian batsman Kiran Navgire. Australia's Jess Jonason was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 40 lakh, while Grace Harris became a part of UP Warriors for Rs 30 lakh.

India's young wicketkeeper-batsman G Kamalini was included in their team by Gujarat Giants for Rs 40 lakh. Now after the auction, all five teams have young talent along with experienced players. In such a situation, the title battle is expected to be more interesting in the next season.
