India have had a strong bowling attack in their Twenty20 International line-up for years. With some serious pace, smart death bowling and powerful spinners, they've been an unstoppable force. However, in 2026 they've come face-to-face with some seriously aggressive batting attacks and have been hit by ball one.

India have conceded the five largest team scores in their entire T20I history this year.

Below we take a look at the five attacks that have changed the game of high-scoring T20 cricket forever in 2026 ft. India vs New Zealand

Eden Park, Auckland

New Zealand etched their names into the history books with a sensational innings at Eden Park in the 4th T20I. They chose to bat first and absolutely tore Australia apart, posting a massive 259/7 in their 20 overs. This is the highest score they have ever scored against India and the highest T20 Score in the ground!

Glenn Phillips was sensational, hitting his century in just 46 balls! He finished with 107 from 49 with 6 fours and 10 sixes. This made him only the second Kiwi batsman to hit a T20I century against India. With Michael Bracewell (65 from 25), he formed a brilliant 100-run stand which ripped through the Indian bowling attack. Mayank Yadav was the only one to shine with 3/48, but in the final over, Glenn Phillips was finally caught out, meaning the Australians will have an impossible task to chase.
