The 11th match of The Hundred 2024 was played between Southern Brave and Manchester Originals, which Southern Brave won by 7 wickets.

In this match, West Indies' legendary T20 cricketer Kieron Pollard was playing for Southern Brave. Pollard did not bat in this match but he left no stone unturned to entertain the fans with his fielding.

Pollard took two catches in this match and one of his catches reminded fans of the old Kieron Pollard.

This catch was of Manchester's key all-rounder Sikandar Raza, which came at a very crucial time. This catch was seen during the eighth set of Manchester's innings when Raza was making a strong stand with Wayne Madsen.

However, Southern Brave captain James Vince's decision to bring Tymal Mills back into the attack proved to be a master stroke.

The left-arm pacer bowled a short ball from round the wicket near the off stump, on which Raza went for a big shot on the off side. However, the connection between the ball and the bat was not good and the ball remained in the air for a long time.
Kieron Pollard, stationed at mid-off, ran back and took a brilliant catch to end Raza's innings.

Pollard fell to the ground while catching this catch but he did not drop the catch. Talking about this match, batting first, Manchester Originals posted a modest score of 116 runs on the board. Captain Phil Salt disappointed them again, while Madsen and Jamie Overton helped them cross the 100-run mark with important cameos. Southern Brave then scored 117 runs in just 78 balls to register an easy win.
