Date after date, date after date… The way the decision is being postponed in the Vinesh Phogat case and a new date is being given every time, it is natural to remember that famous dialogue of Sunny Deol from the film 'Damini'. The test of waiting is over. But there is no news yet as to what will happen to the Indian wrestler? Will he get the silver medal or not. The Court of Arbitration for Sports i.e. CAS has now given a new date of 16 August for the decision. With the decision being postponed once again, India's former Olympic champion Abhinav Bindra has started worrying about the sports lovers waiting for the decision.
In such a situation, he has tried to tell them through his ex handle that there is no need to panic due to the delay. The decision in the Vinesh Phogat case was supposed to come on August 9 but it did not come. The new date for the decision was given as August 13. But, if this date was also not given then we are just waiting. Now the new date for the decision is August 16. In such a situation, the big question is whether the decision will come on this day or if it is given then another new date.
The fans are being affected the most by the Court of Arbitration for Sports giving a new date for the decision every time. This is because their wait is getting longer. Now Abhinav Bindra has written on this entire issue on his ex handle. He wrote- When there is a delay in any big work, we all get disappointed. Many of us must be feeling the same right now regarding the Vinesh Phogat case. But, you have to understand that sports is not only what is played on the field. It is also a game of testing our patience, waiting. Without knowing what will happen next? So keep cheering your player, understanding that what he is playing is the longest of all his games.
We've all felt that frustration when something important gets delayed, and today, many of us are feeling that as we wait for Vinesh Phogat's CAS judgment. But here's a thought—this is kind of like what athletes go through every four years, waiting for another shot at Olympics

In the Paris Olympics, Vinesh Phogat was disqualified from the women's 50 kg wrestling category due to weight gain before the final. Her weight was found to be 100 grams more than 50 kg. According to the rules of UWW, when this happened, Vinesh was not only excluded from the final, but all her previous matches were also cancelled. This means that the one who was going to win gold or silver by playing the final was placed last among the 12 wrestlers of that weight category. Vinesh is fighting this case in the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
