First Kolkata and then Badlapur… the whole country is terrified by the cases of rape and murder of women and young girls. The heinous crime of rape, assault and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital has sparked anger everywhere. Protests are being held continuously across the country including Kolkata and questions are being raised on the government along with the demand for justice.

Many Indian cricketers have also raised their voice through social media and now leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has demanded such a fate for the rapists that their soul shivers.

For the past several days, questions were being raised as to why Indian celebrities, especially cricketers, are silent on the heinous crime in Kolkata. Since then, star cricketers like Suryakumar Yadav, Jaspreet Bumrah have raised their voices on this incident in their own way. Yuzvendra Chahal has not only demanded death penalty for the rapists in this case, but he has also demanded that such culprits should be beaten and tortured before leaving them to die.

Break legs, torture and then kill

On Wednesday, August 21, Yuzvendra Chahal posted a story on his Instagram account and expressed his anger and told the way to punish the rapists. Chahal wrote… “Hang them to die? No. Break their legs at 90 degrees, shatter their collarbones, hurt their private parts, keep the rapists alive to bear all this horrific torture and then hang them to die”.yuzvendra chahal

Demand for death penalty across the country

After the painful and horrifying information about the rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata has come to light, there is a demand for death penalty for the rapists across the country. In many parts of the country, there is also a demand to hand over the culprits to the public so that they can be punished as per their wish. So far, one accused in this incident has been arrested and the CBI is currently investigating this case.
