Delhi: West Delhi Lions pacer and Team India star Navdeep Saini has stressed on the importance of discipline and constant practice for fast bowlers. Saini has represented India in 2 Tests, 8 ODIs and 11 T20 Internationals. He is currently playing for West Delhi Lions in the Delhi Premier League (DPL).

Navdeep Saini told West Delhi Lions, “Our first match was really good and everything went according to our plan. Everyone was supporting each other during the game, it was the first time for all of us to play together and we did it really well.

As a team, when you win the first match, it helps the team a lot to move forward. We have prepared very well for today's game. Our process has been the same as we did at the beginning of the first match. We have done the same for today's match as well. Our practice has been really good.”

Navdeep, the most senior player of the West Delhi Lions team, is leaving no stone unturned to stay in top form. He said, “Ever since I started playing cricket, I have always focused on my fitness.

Fast bowling is not easy, you have to work hard day and night to master it. If you want to become a fast bowler, you must be disciplined.”
