Meerut Mavericks, captained by Rinku Singh, faced Kashi Rudras in the first match of the UP T20 League.
In this match, led by Rinku Singh, the Meerut Mavericks team first set the ball on fire. Then showed their batting prowess and won the match. Kashi Rudras batted first in the match and were all out after scoring 100 runs in 19.2 overs. Yash Garg was the most successful bowler from Meerut, who took 3 wickets. Now Rinku's team Meerut Mavericks had an easy target of 101 runs and also a chance to avenge their defeat against Kashi Rudras in the final of the last season.Rinku Singh's team was successful in capitalizing on both these opportunities.

The result was that Meerut Mavericks achieved the target of 101 runs to be scored in 20 overs in just 9 overs.In the match, Meerut Mavericks hit 7 sixes in the run chase, out of which 6 came from Swastik Chikara's bat and the one that wrote the script of victory was seen from Rinku Singh's bat.
