There is anger in Pakistan after the humiliating defeat of the Pakistani team in the first test match against Bangladesh. Fans are not only venting their anger on the team, but are also criticizing the Pakistan Cricket Board. In such a situation, the PCB is afraid that the fans may refuse to come to the stadium for the second test match, so the Pakistani board has made the entry of school students free to watch this match. Like the first test match, the second match will also be played in Rawalpindi. To watch this match for free, students will have to reach the stadium in school uniform.
The first test match was played between Pakistan and Bangladesh at Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. This match lasted for 5 days. For this match also, the Pakistani board had kept cheap tickets so that maximum spectators could come to the ground to watch the match but this did not happen. On top of that, the performance of the Pakistani team was so poor that it had to face defeat in a test match for the first time at the hands of Bangladesh, that too on its own ground and by 10 wickets. Due to this, the fans who were already looking indifferent are in danger of not being able to attend the next test match.
Now to calm the anger of the fans and to avoid the embarrassment of an empty stadium, the Pakistani board has made the entry of school students free for the second test. The next test will start from August 30, in which students wearing school uniforms can enter the stadium by just showing their identity card. Not only this, keeping in mind the heat and humidity of Rawalpindi, the board has also kept the entry to the VIP area and lounge free for these students so that the fans can enjoy the test match.
Talking about the match, Pakistan will have to win this match at any cost to save the series.
There is only a 2-match series between the two teams. In such a situation, nothing less than victory will be acceptable for Pakistan. If this match is drawn or cancelled, then Pakistan will have to face the double humiliation of losing the series to Bangladesh for the first time. Along with this, its remaining hopes of reaching the final of the World Test Championship will also be shattered. There is only a 2-match series between the two teams.
