Duleep Trophy: For the Duleep Trophy 2024 edition, the selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar has announced the team squads of India A, India B, India C and India D. The first match of Duleep Trophy 2024 will be played on 5 September between India A and India B (IND A VS IND B) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Shubman Gill has been given the responsibility of captaining the India A squad selected by the selection committee.

Shubman Gill, along with the coaching staff of India A, has tried to prepare the playing 11 for the team's first match. After which reports are coming in the media that Shubman Gill will not give a chance to the star players of Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the playing 11 of the team's first match, while Mayank Agarwal, who has scored a lot of runs in Test cricket for Team India, will also not be included in the playing 11.
