The entire responsibility of its maintenance will be of BV Kamath Memorial Club.

Success of Ramakant Achrekar

Ramakant Achrekar could not play much cricket in his career. He played only 1 first class cricket match. Achrekar played cricket from 1943 to 1945, after which he started coaching from Kamath Memorial Cricket Club.

He gave many players to the country from this club, of which Sachin is the most famous. He got the most fame in coaching. For his contribution, he was awarded the Dronacharya Award in 1990. After this, he was also honored with the Padma Shri Award in 2010.
