Barinder Sran was out of Team India for the last 8 years. He shared some of his photos on social media and told the fans about his decision to retire. Barinder Sran played his last international match on 22 June 2016 in the T20 series against Zimbabwe.

Barinder Sran said, 'I have officially retired from cricket, I am deeply grateful for my journey. Since switching from boxing in 2009, cricket has given me countless and incredible experiences. Fast bowling soon became my lucky charm and opened doors to represent IPL franchises, followed by the honour of representing India in 2016.

Even though my international career was short, the memories created will always be cherished. I am forever grateful to God for giving me the right coach and management who supported me throughout my journey. As I start this new chapter, I am very grateful for the opportunities given to me towards cricket. In the end, as it is said, like the sky, dreams also have no limits, so keep dreaming.'
