Rajasthan Royals' franchise Barbados Royals has won the Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) 2024 trophy. Barbados Royals defeated KKR's franchise Trinbago Knight Riders by 4 wickets in the final match. This match held on 29 August was very exciting. Both the teams were seen struggling to score 100 runs. Trinbago, batting first, had set a target of only 94, which the Barbados team chased with 30 balls to spare, but in the meantime they lost 6 wickets. At one point, the match seemed to be slipping out of hand for Barbados. Then Sri Lankan veteran player Chamari Atapattu stood up as a one-woman army.
