These days a Test series is being played between Pakistan and Bangladesh. The second match of this series is being played in Rawalpindi and so far in this entire series many catches have been dropped by both the teams. Both have suffered due to these dropped catches. Not only this series, but this is also seen in the England-Sri Lanka Test series and it happens in almost every match or every series where players drop catches. This is not a new thing or a big deal. Obviously no one is happy with a dropped catch but in a match being played in England, the captain of the team dropped a catch but even after this the team became happy.
Reason- The team got a wicket even after the dropped catch. While a Test match is being played at Lord's in England, County Championship matches are being played in other cities. One such match is also being played between Worcestershire and Essex in Chelmsford. In this match, Worcestershire set a target of 184 runs for Essex. Worcestershire needed to take wickets early to defend this small target and they took 2 wickets quickly.
Despite this, the team needed more wickets and one such opportunity came in the 21st over, when Logan van Beek was bowling.
On the fourth ball of his over, Jordan Cox played a shot towards mid-on. Worcestershire captain Brett DeOliveira was stationed at the silly mid-on position next to the pitch. He dived to his left to catch the ball but his attempt to catch it with one hand failed. The ball slipped from his hand. Before the captain, bowler and the rest of the fielders could express their disappointment, they immediately got good news.describe this to me

Actually the captain did miss the catch but the ball hit the non-striker's stumps directly, where the other batsman Robin Das was out on the crease and thus he was run out. In this way, despite the mistake, the Worcestershire captain gave success to the team.
If he could not catch the ball this time, then he did it in just two balls. On the last ball of the same over, Jordan Cox again played the same shot but this time the ball was a little more in the air and was on the right side of DeOliviera, where he took a great one-handed catch by diving and gave the team its fourth success.
