In the Paris Paralympics, Preeti Pal has made history by winning the bronze medal in the 200m T35 category after the 100m T35 category. With this, India has a total of 6 medals. This is the first medal on the fourth day of the games. Preeti Pal also won the bronze medal in the 100m T35 category. Preeti is the first Indian athlete to win a medal in a track event. Now she has also joined the list of players who have won two medals in the same Paralympics.
Preeti Pal once again performed brilliantly and brought pride to the country in the final of the women's 200m T35 event.
She secured third place with a time of 30.01 seconds. Earlier, she had completed this race in 14.21 seconds in the 100m T35 category and also broke her personal record.
