Shubman Gill: The Indian team has to play 10 Test matches before the final of the World Test Championship 2025. In which it has to play 5 Test match series with Australia, 3 against New Zealand and 2 against Bangladesh. First of all, the team has to play a Test series with Bangladesh. The senior players of Team India can play in the Test format till the final match of the World Test Championship.
But senior players can be given rest after the WTC final in June. Because, the Indian team has to play a 2 Test match series with West Indies in the year 2025. In which young players can make a comeback and Shubman Gill can captain the team.

Let us tell you that, Team India's young batsman Shubman Gill is to be made the vice-captain in the 2 Test match series to be played with Bangladesh from September 19.
Due to which it is believed that after Rohit Sharma, BCCI can hand over the captaincy of the Test team to Gill.Whereas Rohit Sharma can announce his retirement from the Test format after the WTC Final 2025. Due to which Shubman Gill can be seen captaining Team India in the Test series against West Indies.
The Indian team went on a tour of West Indies in July 2023 to play a series of 2 Test matches. Due to which now West Indies has to tour India.
According to media reports, a 2 Test match series with West Indies can be played in October 2025. In which many young players can be given a chance in Team India's squad.Two young star batsmen of the Indian team, Ishan Kishan and Prithvi Shaw, are out of Team India. Due to which both these players can now get a chance against West Indies. Ishan Kishan last got a chance in November 2023. While Prithvi Shaw last got a chance in Team India in the year 2021.
