Team India's legendary batsman Virat Kohli has announced his retirement from the T20 International format. Due to which many young players are staking claim to play at the number 3 position in Team India.

While the name of young batsman Sai Sudarshan is also included in this list. Sudarshan now wants to play in place of Kohli in India and he has also got a chance in Team India. However, Sai Sudarshan's performance in the Duleep Trophy 2024 has been poor in the first match and he has flopped badly in both the innings.

Sai Sudarshan got out cheaply in both the innings

Team India's 22-year-old batsman Sai Sudarshan is currently playing in the Duleep Trophy. But Sai Sudarshan has flopped badly in the first match.

Because, while playing for India C team, Sudarshan was able to score only 7 runs in 16 balls in the first innings.

Whereas in the second innings, Sai Sudarshan could not do anything special and returned to the pavilion after scoring 22 runs. If Sudarshan has to make a place in Team India now, then he will have to perform very well in the coming time. Only then can he get a place in Team India.

India C won the match

In the second match of Duleep Trophy 2024, India D team was able to score only 164 runs in the first innings. While in response to this, India C was successful in scoring 168 runs in the first innings and the team gained a lead of 4 runs in the first innings.

At the same time, India D's batting flopped in the second innings as well and the team was reduced to 236 runs. Due to which India C got a target of 233 runs and India C was successful in winning the match by achieving the target by losing 6 wickets.
