Bangladesh team recently defeated Pakistan in its home ground. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan for the first time in a Test series. After the historic 2-0 win in the series, team captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto praised head coach Chandika Hathurusingha. After this win, the tone of Bangladesh Cricket Board also seems to have changed. Till yesterday, the board was hell bent on removing Hathurusingha from the post somehow. However, now BCB director Nazmul Abdin has made it clear that Hathurusingha will continue to be the head coach of the team in the Test series against India starting on 19 September.
