Gautam Gambhir: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad of Team India for the Test series to be held this month between India and Bangladesh (IND vs BAN). This team includes some surprising names, who have been given a place in the Indian team.

However, there are 2 players who probably did not deserve a place in this team but still they have been given a place in the team. Head coach Gautam Gambhir has not shown the way out to both the players.

yash dayal

Young pacer Yash Dayal has been included in the Indian team for the Test series against Bangladesh starting on 19 September.

Dayal has received a call for the Test team for the first time and now he has been included in the team.

However, his performance has not been anything special for the last few days. This player did not perform well even during IPL 2024. So in Duleep Trophy 2024, he did score 4 wickets in the first match but also conceded a lot of runs. Even after this, he was made a part of Team India.

Shubman Gill

Team India's young opening batsman Shubman Gill has also been given a chance in the Test series against Bangladesh but this player has disappointed everyone for some time now.

Gill's performance in Test cricket has been disappointing and he scores runs at an average of 35.

On the other hand, he could not perform well in Duleep Trophy and his team had to face defeat. Even after such a bad performance, he has been given a chance in the team and he will also be seen playing against Bangladesh. Gill did not perform well against Sri Lanka recently but even after this he has been given a chance in the team.

Test series will start from September 19

If we talk about the test series between these two teams, it will start from 19th September and the first match will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Whereas both the teams will face each other from 27th September at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
