After which he is now slowly recovering. Shami has started bowling in the nets. Due to which it is believed that he can return to the team very soon. Shami has not been given a chance in the first Test match against Bangladesh due to his unfitness.

Ajit Agarkar gave a big update

Team India's chief selector Ajit Agarkar gave an update about Mohammad Shami and said, "On Mohammad Shami's injury, chief selector Ajit Agarkar said, "We know that some players are injured at the moment and hopefully they will come back.

Mohammad Shami has started bowling. Which is a good sign. The first Test is against Bangladesh on September 19 and this was always the target. I don't know if this is the time limit for his recovery or not. We will have to ask the NCA people about this."

Ajit Agarkar further said, "There are a lot of Tests coming up. We will need some depth. Bumrah, Shami and Siraj have been around for a while, that's obvious. But there will be some talks around that. There is a lot of first-class cricket coming up so we can prepare people that way."

Shami may return in the second test

The first test match between India and Bangladesh is to be played from 19 September.

While the second test match is to be played on the Kanpur ground from 27 September. Due to which Shami can get time to recover and due to this it is believed that Shami can be seen playing in the second test.
