All the teams have intensified their preparations for the IPL 2025 auction, many teams have also made major changes in the management before IPL 2025 and with this, there are big chances of changes in the squad as well. If media reports are to be believed, BCCI and IPL Governing Council are going to bring new rules regarding retention before the IPL 2025 auction as soon as possible and after hearing this news, all the supporters are looking very happy.
Soon the registration of players for the IPL 2025 auction can also start and with this once again Pakistani players will not be able to participate in this tournament.
But in the first season, some players from Pakistan took part in the IPL.
IPL started in the year 2008 and players from many countries participated in this tournament.
Players from Pakistan, one of these countries, also participated in IPL 2008 and Pakistani players showed excellent performance in this tournament. But after this season, Pakistani players have been banned by the IPL Governing Council and BCCI. Apart from Shahid Afridi, many other Pakistani players were included in IPL 2008 and they were given huge prices for this. In IPL 2008, KKR included Shoaib Akhtar (1.7 crores), Salman Butt (40.16 crores), Mohammad Hafeez (40.16 crores), Umar Gul (60.24 crores).
Delhi Daredevils had included Shoaib Malik (Rs 2 crores) and Mohammad Asif (Rs 2.61 crores). Rajasthan Royals had included Kamran Akmal (Rs 60 lakhs), Younis Khan (Rs 90.36 lakhs), Sohail Tanvir (Rs 40.16 lakhs) and Bangalore had included Misbah-ul-Haq for Rs 50.2 lakhs.
