Champions Trophy 2025: The Champions Trophy 2025 is to be played under the hosting of Pakistan. The Champions Trophy can start from 19 February. However, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not yet announced the schedule of the Champions Trophy.

While in the meantime, big news has come out regarding this tournament. Because, ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardyce has made a big statement regarding the hosting of the Champions Trophy and he believes that Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy. However, now BCCI Secretary Jay Shah can take big action on this statement.

Jay Shah can make a big announcement!

BCCI secretary Jay Shah can now take a big action on the statement of ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice.

ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice said, "At present, the Champions Trophy is to be held in Pakistan and we have no plans to shift it from there. We are trying to find a solution but for now we are sticking to the same plans."

But BCCI does not want to send Team India to Pakistan. Due to which Jai Shah can take big action on whether Team India will play the Champions Trophy or not.

Pakistan cannot go to India

There has always been an issue regarding security in Pakistan. Due to which, if the Champions Trophy 2025 is played under the hosting of Pakistan, then the Indian team can refuse to play the Champions Trophy.

Because, BCCI wants that the Champions Trophy should be played on the basis of hybrid model and not in Pakistan. Whereas apart from this, BCCI believes that if the Champions Trophy is not organized on the hybrid model, then all the matches of India should be held in some other country.

A decision can be taken soon

The Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to begin in February. Due to which a decision on hosting the Champions Trophy can be taken soon. If the Champions Trophy is played in Pakistan and the Indian team does not participate in this tournament, then Sri Lanka will qualify to play the Champions Trophy in place of Team India.
