Team India: A 2 Test match series is to be played between India and Bangladesh (IND vs BAN) from 19 September. For which the squad of Team India has been announced. A 2 Test match series can be played between India and West Indies in October 2025.
However, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma can be dropped from Team India's squad in this series.Because, it is believed that after the World Test Championship final match, Rohit and Kohli may take a break from the Test format. Due to which both these players may not be able to play in the series to be played against West Indies. Due to which young players may get a chance in place of these players.
It is believed that young batsman Shubman Gill will be included in Team India's squad for the 2 Test match series to be played against West Indies in October 2025.
While Gill can be made the captain in the series to be played against West Indies.Because, Shubman Gill is considered to be the future captain of Team India. Gill has been made the vice-captain in ODI and T20 formats. While in this series, the vice-captaincy of Team India can be given to wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant.
