Neeraj Chopra has revealed that he participated in the Diamond League finals despite a hand injury during a training session.
Neeraj Chopra wrote on his social media handle, 'The 2024 season is over so I look back at all the things I learned throughout the year including improvements, failures, mindset and more. I was injured during practice on Monday and the X-ray revealed a fracture in the bone (fourth metacarpal) of my left hand. This was another painful challenge for me. But with the help of my team, I managed to participate in Brussels.'He further wrote, 'This was the last tournament of the year. I could not live up to my own expectations. But I think this was a season in which I learned a lot.
