Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav may be discharged

Both Gill and Surya were fired, Jay Shah chose new captain and vice-captain for Bangladesh T20 series 2

Let us tell you that after Rohit Sharma's retirement from T20 cricket, Suryakumar Yadav has become the permanent captain of India's T20 team. However, at present he is injured and due to this he could not participate in Duleep Trophy 2024 as well.

In such a situation, he may be out of the T20 series against Bangladesh and some other player may be seen captaining in his place. At the same time, Shubman Gill may also be out of this series because Team India has to play a Test series against New Zealand after Bangladesh and keeping this in mind, Gill can be given rest.

Jay Shah can make this player captain and vice-captain

If both Surya and Gill are out for the series against Bangladesh, then the responsibility of captaining Team India can be handed over to wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant in their place.

Pant has captained India in this format before and he can be seen in this role once again.

On the other hand, opener Rituraj Gaikwad can be made the vice-captain. Gaikwad also won the gold medal while captaining India in the Asian Games 2023 and he can be appointed as the vice-captain for this series.
