The entire tournament is scheduled to be played in four legs across Jodhpur, Surat, Jammu and Srinagar. The final of the six-team tournament is scheduled on October 16, 2024 at the Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.
The six teams in the tournament are: Southern Superstars, Urbanrisers Hyderabad, Manipal Tigers, Gujarat Giants, India Capitals and Konark Suryas Odisha.
It is pertinent to note that Bhilwara Kings, who did feature in the 2023 edition of the tournament, will no longer be featuring in this season of the T20 tournament meant for retired cricketers with Konrak Suryas Odisha replacing the team. In the final of the 2023 season, it was Harbhajan Singh's Manipal Tigers who emerged as the winners, beating Suresh Raina-led Urbanrisers Hyderabad.
