Team India: Team India has to play a 2 Test match series against Bangladesh from 19 September. After playing the Test series and T20 series against Bangladesh, Team India has to play a 3 Test match series against New Zealand. For which the selection committee can soon announce the 15-member team squad.
Regarding the selection of Team India against New Zealand, reports are coming out that Ajit Agarkar can give a chance to debut to two young openers who performed brilliantly in the Duleep Trophy. On the other hand, some reports are also claiming that the selection committee can give a chance to these two young players in the team squad instead of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.

Abhimanyu Easwaran and Rituraj Gaikwad, who are captaining India B and India C in the Duleep Trophy, have also performed brilliantly for their respective teams as players.
Due to which the selection committee can include Rituraj Gaikwad and Abhimanyu Easwaran in the squad of Team India for the 3 Test match series against New Zealand and give them a chance to debut in Test cricket.Regarding the team selection against New Zealand, reports are coming that the selection committee may rest Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja from the 3 Test match series.
If this happens, then as an alternative to these two legendary spin all-rounders, the selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar can give Washington Sundar and Manav Suthar a chance to join the team squad.The selection committee can give rest to the senior players of Team India for the 3 Test match series against New Zealand. Due to which Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli can also be given rest as batsmen. Due to which it is believed that instead of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill can get a chance to captain Team India in the New Zealand Test series.
