One of the prominent names likely to join him is Vikram Rathour, India's former batting coach. Rathour is expected to replace Trevor Penney, who could take up a new role with the Royals' Caribbean Premier League (CPL) team, the Barbados Royals.
This reshuffling signals a potential change in the Royals' coaching setup under Dravid's leadership.
Paras Mhambrey, India's former bowling coach, is also on the radar for a coaching position at another IPL franchise, although details remain uncertain.
Both Rathour and Mhambrey have opted for IPL coaching roles, turning down offers to commentate, further solidifying their focus on shaping talent in the IPL ecosystem.
Rajasthan Royals, one of IPL's original franchises, announced Dravid's appointment earlier this month on a multi-year contract. Dravid, who previously coached India's senior team and U19 side, returns to the franchise he served from 2011 to 2015.
This marks a significant homecoming for the 51-year-old, who started his coaching journey with the Royals in 2014 after a stint as the team's mentor.
Under his leadership, India recently secured the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, adding to his growing reputation as a coach capable of delivering success.
Dravid expressed his excitement about rejoining the Royals, calling it the "perfect place" to take on his next challenge after the World Cup. "A lot of hard work has gone into the progress this franchise has made, and I'm looking forward to taking it to the next level," Dravid stated.
Alongside Dravid, Kumar Sangakkara, the Royals' Director of Cricket, will continue to work on shaping the team's strategy.
Sangakkara lauded Dravid's credentials, saying, "His ability to nurture talent and get them to consistently perform at the highest level will be a huge asset as we aim to challenge for the title."
Another key figure set to take on an IPL coaching assignment is Munaf Patel, the former India pacer and 2011 World Cup winner. Patel's addition further indicates that the IPL 2025 season will see a number of high-profile coaches bringing their expertise to franchises, elevating the competition and strategies across the tournament.
