South Africa batter David Miller has opened up on the heartbreaking ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final against India. The southpaw felt that he had let the entire country down when Suryakumar Yadav took his catch.

“No, I wouldn’t have, other than maybe a better connection with the ball. I was not expecting a full toss and it caught me a bit off guard. The breeze was coming across us and not into us. The margins are small in such circumstances. I thought I had hit it cleanly,” he added.

Chasing 177, Heinrich Klaasen scored 52 runs off 27 balls. He was dismissed by Hardik Pandya in the 17th over, and it changed the game in India’s favor.
