Latest News :- The Duleep Trophy cricket series between India 'C' and India 'B' began in Anantapur yesterday. India won the toss and chose to field 'B'. Batting first, India 'C' scored 357 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 79 overs on the first day. Ishan Kishan, playing aggressively, scored 111 runs in 126 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 14 fours. Baba Indrajit of Tamil Nadu, who came to play in his support, was out after scoring 78 runs in 136 balls with the help of 9 fours. The pair added 189 runs for the third wicket.

Ishan Kishan was included in the India 'D' team in the first round of Duleep Trophy. But he could not play due to groin injury. Sanju Samson was taken in his place. After this Ishan Kishan was brought to the 'C' team. He took full advantage of the opportunity he got. Ishan Kishan hit two sixes off the ball of Navdeep Saini and one six off the ball of Mukesh Kumar.

Earlier, opener Sai Sudarshan was out after scoring 43 runs, Rajat Pattidar after scoring 40 runs and Abhishek Borel after scoring 12 runs. Captain Ruduraj Gaikwad scored 46 and Manav Sudhar scored 8 runs.
