Bumrah meanwhile pointed out that Akash is always willing to learn and brings a lot of energy with him while bowling.
He added that Akash gives his all on the field and that he always had interesting conversations about bowling with the cricketer.
"Yeah, he comes up to me quite a lot. You know, before a spell, he asks me what is happening. What do you think I should do? So we've had a lot of interesting conversations. With the energy he brings onto the ball, he gives his absolute best on the field and as well as when he's bowling," Bumrah told the broadcaster.
"So he's got a lot of heart.
So that's a great sign for us going forward as well. And whenever he comes into bowling he gives his absolute best. So yes, I'm very happy with the way he's progressing and hopefully, he goes from strength to strength," he added.
